Your skin will feel tight and dry for a couple of days. Around the third or fourth day, you may notice some flakiness or peeling as the top layers of skin begin to shed. The deeper peels build up a crustiness before the flaking and peeling process begins. For light chemical peels, this should be complete within a week or so. In the days following, the new, healthy, supple skin will begin to grow. For deeper peels, this process can continue for another week or so.

Most people need between 3-6 treatments. Collagen induction usually requires 3 treatments as a starting point, but if you're looking to improve scar reduction, you'll likely need up to 6 treatments. For younger people 1 or 2 might be enough. It all depends on your body's unique cellular turnover rate, your age and how you've treated your skin in the past.

A treatment session is relatively quick and straightforward and there is no significant downtime. The treatments are all performed using very fine needles, so a small amount of discomfort should be expected. Topical anesthetic can be used on the skin before some treatments, for added comfort. We will always discuss the details specific to your treatment in our initial consult.

When done well and using the correct products, results dont need to be obvious, unnatural or noticeable to anyone other than you. A well-executed procedure requires an experienced professional who understands facial anatomy, skin type, and how each different formula behaves; it is as much an art as it is a science. The secret to a good result is that it should be undetectable, our aim is for people to notice that you look great, but not know what you’ve had done.
